THE third round of the 2014 British Human Power Club Championships season will be held at the York Sport Village’s cycle circuit on Sunday, May 25.
It will be the first time that this novel form of cycle racing has been run over the York track, with a wide range of human power vehicles competing in a series of races. The race programme starts at 11am.
Two-wheeled and multi-track vehicles, including streamliners and velomobiles will compete, reaching speeds of up to up to 35mph.
The BHPC welcome entries from non-members and riders of conventional bikes. Helmets must be worn and a £10 entry fee will be payable on the day. Registration will close at 10am.
