CLIFFE wrapped up a trophy double when they lifted the East Riding County FA Qualifying Cup with a 3-2 victory over Drum Athletic at Pocklington Town.
Fresh from their York FA Saturday Junior Cup triumph, York Minster Engineering League side Cliffe edged past their East Riding Amateur League opponents.
They took the lead in the first ten minutes, Andy Addison peeling away from his marker to loop a great header past the keeper.
Drum drew level before the break when Tony Cardwell broke through and slid the ball under Dave Laverack.
Athletic forged ahead with around 20 minutes remaining when they pounced on a loose ball in the six yard box.
Cliffe threw on an extra striker in the shape of Chris Jackson and with 12 minutes remaining the substitute's shot took a big deflection and looped over the keeper to make it 2-2.
The winner came with only five minutes remaining as Cliffe broke down the left and the ball was squared to Jackson, who hammered it home.
