Yorkshire’s batsmen are piling on the runs against Durham at Emirates Durham.

The White Rose county have reached lunch on day two at 451-3 from 126 overs following a wicketless session this morning.

York's Jonny Bairstow and captain Andrew Gale are within sight of their first hundreds this season. They will resume this afternoon on 95 and 98 respectively.

Their fourth-wicket partnership currently stands at 194 inside 45 overs. They have scored 152 of them today. They have only offered one tough chance during a superb session of batting. Yorkshire claimed four batting points and Durham one bowling point.

Gale was dropped by a diving Scott Borthwick at slip off Paul Collingwood on 92.
