CITY Supporters captain Tracey Farmeary will go head-to-head with Tramways skipper Sue Lowery in the individual final of the York John Smith's Ladies Darts League.

The pair will meet on finals night tonight at Tramways, with the action starting at 8pm.

In the semi-finals, Farmeary beat Marcia 'A' captain Di Moreland 2-1. Farmeary took the first leg in 21 darts, including three tons, only for Moreland to level with a double eight closure.

The City Supporters leader struggled with her doubles in the second leg but found her form in the decider, checking out double 12 for a 24-darter.

Lowery overcame Natalie Farmeary 2-1. The home captain checked out double to top to win the opener and then, after Farmeary levelled with a double nine out shot, won it on double three in the decider.

The Farmearys united in the pairs to beat Magnet's Sandra Bruce and Denise Fowler, who they beat 2-0 to set up a final against Burnholme's Sarah Jackson and Sharon Neads.

The Burnholme pair knocked out City Supporters duo Tina Platt and Lynne Clapham 2-1. Platt and Clapham won the opened and Clapham hit a 140 in the second leg, only for Neads to hit a ton and Jackson a 131 en route to a leveller.

In the decider, Clapham hit 125 and 100, but Neads fired in a 123 and hit double two for victory.

The triples final will be between Five Lions' Michelle Britton, Dawn Exton and Lynn Thompson, who beat City Supporters trio Farmeary, Clapham and Platt, and Magnet's Sue Tate, Flossy Crampton and Fowler, who put out Burton's Linda Embleton, Angie Blackmore and Sandra Pallister.

City edged the first leg but Britton hit three tons in the second before checking out double 16. Clapham settled the match in a double one shoot-out.

Magnet took the first leg against Burton, who levelled in an epic double one chase, but Magnet progressed after winning a deciding leg of missed chances.

Britton and Exton reached the final of the captain and vice-captain competition with a 2-0 victory over Marcia 'A' pair Moreland and Carol Perrett.

After a cagey opening leg, Britton and Exton hit the tons and a double top checkout to go through.

They will face Tracey Farmeary and Bev Harton in the final after they beat Magnet's Maggie Tottie and Tracey Watkinson 2-0.

Farmeary hit a 180 and a 140.
