F1 RACING guaranteed promotion from York Minster Engineering League division two with a last-gasp 3-2 victory at Fulford United.

The leaders went in 2-0 down at half-time, trailing to a Steve Cooper strike and an own goal. After the break, Neil Yeowart headed home a Darryl Boulton free-kick to reduce the arrears before Adam Tiffany swept home the equaliser from the edge of the box. Yeowart added his second late on.

Heslington leapfrogged Rawcliffe into second spot after a 4-1 home win over Thorpe United.

Stuart Dickinson bagged a brace, with Martin Pepper and Alex Sutherland also on the scoresheet.
