JAYNE JANES set the tone with a 126 checkout as leaders City Supporters thrashed Magnet 8-1 in division one of the York John Smith’s Ladies Darts League.

Janes fired treble 20, double 20 and double 13 and was ably supported by Natalie Farmeary, Tracey Farmeary, Sue Turpin, Tina Platt and Bev Harton.

Magnet’s lone point came from Wendy Shortle and Sue Tate in the first pairs leg.

Five Lions raced into a 4-0 advantage against Severus ‘A’ as Anne Bass, Muriel Britton, Michelle Britton and Dawn Exton cashed in.

Castle Howard Ox enhanced their chances with an 8-1 win at Leeman. Alison Walker, Wendy Sullivan, Nikki Johnson, Nella Majsterek, Linda Staveley and Abbie Scott secured victory before Debbit Witts and Margaret Yeomans broke Leeman’s duck.

Woolpack edged past Burton WMC 5-4 as Sharon Nelson and Vicky McClaren snatched match points.

Alice and Cris Turgoose won the final pairs to clinch a 5-4 victory over Jubilee, while Alison Buckley top scored as Green Tree won 5-4 against an understrength Turpin team.
