Dave Stroughair and John Dudding will play in the final of the Yorkshire IBA singles a week on Saturday after they both came through tough quarter-final and semi-finals at York IBC.
York’s Stroughair found himself 11-4 down to New Earswick’s Andrew Fothergill before turning the game round and winning 21-11.
The semi-final against Dave Walker from Leeds also proved a great comeback. Trailing 16-4, Stroughair won 21-16.
Featherstone’s John Dudding just pipped Harrogate’s Dave Spilsbury with a single to win 21-20.
