York IBC ladies are in action today in the semi-final of another national competition when they play Huntingdon home and away, starting at 1pm.
York play Yorkshire League champions Featherstone, needing at least a win from one of their last two games to make sure they stay in the top-flight next season on Saturday at noon, while in the third division both York and New Earswick need wins to secure a top four spot and entry into the end of season Challenge Cup.
New Earswick play bottom club Doncaster while York face a tough game against league leaders Selby.
