Third division Marcia Grey provided the biggest shock in the Ian’s Cars of Barlby League Cup quarter-finals by ousting first division Hounds 5-4.
Despite starting with nine men, Hounds went ahead through Chris Jackson. They were up to full strength when Alex Day levelled with a cracking drive.
Predator Carl Stewart seized centre stage. He hit a brace of goals in each half, the fourth in the 90th minute to take the tie.
That winner was harsh on Hounds’ Jackson, whose similar four-goal haul proved in vain.
Cup favourites King William are through to the semi-finals after winning 3-1 at Wigginton Grasshoppers.
A strong start was rewarded with a thunderbolt strike from Kevin Butler in the 15th minute before Danny Gray doubled the King William when rifling home a 25-yard free-kick.
Grasshoppers reduced the arrears just before half-time, Matt Tiplady heading in a Michael Clancy cross.
A full comeback was halted by a second-half drive from King William substitute Tom Hawksby.
