IN the wake of the loss of several teams from the York Minster Engineering Football League, including 100-year-old Nestlé Rowntree, the league structure will be reorganised next season.

The premier division will again comprise 15 teams followed by three divisions of 14.

The reserve set-up will feature three divisions of 12 teams next season.

Promotion and relegation will happen as normal this season and the resulting postions will determine the new league cut-off points.

The larger league structures may result in a slightly earlier start to the season.
