ENTRIES are now being taken for the new season of the York Sunday Pool League, which gets under way on Sunday, February 16.
Teams must enter by Sunday, February 9 at the latest and pay a registration fee of £40.
An unofficial registration night will be held at Loop Bar in Fawcett Street, where teams can hand in forms. Cup draws will also be made on the night.
Each team must include a minimum of four registered players, although matches can be played with a minimum of three, and a maximum of 12.
League matches start at 7.30pm and consist of singles and doubles frames played to world rules.
Any pubs, snooker clubs or working men’s clubs with a pool table and within ten miles of York city centre are eligible to enter.
