TRAMWAYS cruised to a 7-2 victory over Bootham Conservative Club in division one of the York John Smith’s Ladies Darts League.

Captain Sue Lowery checked out on 95 for Tramways – with treble 15, 18, double 16 – to complete a 24-dart leg after Kate Barnes had won the opener for Bootham.

Jo Hodges hit double top for a 70 checkout to put Tramways in front and although Julia Hagyard levelled, it was the visitors’ only other point.

Tracey Farmeary gamed in 22 darts for City Supporters in their 6-3 win over visitors Acomb.

Lisa Benton, Sammy Endersby and Natasha Benton were successful for Acomb.

Lions sealed a 6-3 win at Edinburgh, whose Donna Lynes starred.

Michelle Britton and Dawn Exton were the ton scorers for Lions, with three and two respectively.

Slipper left it until the last game to snatch a 5-4 victory at Severus ‘A’, captain Doreen Johnstone and Maxine Collinge combining to win the decider.

Marcia ‘B’ also left it late to beat their ‘B’ team, Sharon Rishworth and Linda Welch clinching a 5-4 win.

Sandra Bruce gamed in 23 darts, including scores of 123, 121 and 100, as Magnet entered the pairs all-square with Burnholme.

Lynne Willstrop and Claire Murphy edged Burnholme in front, but Magnet captain Tracey Watkinson and Denise Fowler levelled before Bruce and vice-captain Maggie Tottie won it for the visitors.

Division two leaders Severus ‘B’ entered the pairs 4-2 up on hosts Woolpack after wins for Jeannett Stewart, Ann Meek, Michelle Kelly and Dot Sellars.

Kelly and Wendy Storr secured match points before Stewart and Meek added to the tally.

Kerry Humble, Sandra Flintoft and Janine Cartwright were instrumental in Green Tree entering the pairs level with hosts Marcia Grey.

Rosie Hattee and Eileen Haw edged the home side in front and colleagues Maggie Bedingham and Anne Allison sealed the win before Tracey Scurr and Chris Peebles added to the total.

Louise Warren and Tracey Yeomans were last-game match- winners for second-placed Jubilee at Leeman.

Visitors Shoulder beat Burton WMC, with Jodie Dowson, Vicky Sellers, Hannah Smith and Joyce Kane starring.

Turpin’s Sue Atkin denied visitors Castle Howard Ox a full house in the singles, but Ox ran out 7-2 winners thanks to star turns Abbey Scott and Jemma Young.
