DANNY PENROSE netted twice as Fulford United beat Heslington 5-1 to reach the semi-finals of the York FA Saturday Junior Cup.
Andy Holmes, Ross Wilkinson and Gary Blaymires joined Penrose on the scoresheet.
Cliffe turned a 3-2 half-time advantage into a 6-3 win over Haxby United Reserves.
Ben Drumond (2) and Nathan Bourke were the Haxby scorers, while Cliffe’s tally included a brace apiece from Chris Jackson and Tom Hogg, plus goals from Andy Kirkham and Ian Beckram.
Bishop Wilton’s game at Copmanthorpe Reserves was postponed to Saturday, December 28, with Thorpe United’s game at home to Dringhouses Reserves taking place on the same date.
Both games kick off at 1.30pm.
