F1 RACING and Rawcliffe continue to slog it out at the top of York Minster Engineering Football League division two, with both sides recording victories.
F1 won 2-0 at Wilberfoss, taking the lead after 15 minutes through Neil Yeowart and Andy Proctor added their second before half-time.
Wilberfoss also missed a penalty as both sides squandered good chances to score further goals.
Rawcliffe put five past Bishopthorpe without reply.
Ricky Hunter and Louis Howarth both struck twice, with Dave Stoner scoring Rawcliffe’s fifth.
Strensall were trailing Haxby 2-1 at half-time thanks to a brace from United’s Paul Scaife.
However, Joe Davison’s first-half effort for the home side was soon added to in the second period when Nick Fenton struck a pearler of a free-kick to level.
Jason Cooper and Johnny Heslop then both found the net to give Strensall a 4-2 triumph.
