Cup shock as York Nomads beat Enterprise

Second division side York Nomads put indifferent league form behind them to dump first division Enterprise out of the Ian’s Cars of Barlby League Cup.
Trailing 1-0 at the break to a goal from Scott Milling, Nomads hit back in the second period through Tom Young, Nick Lawrie and Kieran Flanaghan to go into the fourth round with a 3-1 win.
King William showed no signs of slipping up against Drax from the fourth division.
King William led 4-0 at the break with a hat-trick from Danny Gray and a Mark Willoughby strike.
Reece Chappelow, playing his last game for King William before emigrating to Australia, made it 5-0 with his first-ever goal for the club in the 50th minute.
Drax netted a consolation before Willoughby made it 6-1 with his second of the game.
Chris Jackson hit a hat-trick in Hounds’ 6-0 mauling of Selby Olympia. Also finding the target were Luke Pearse (2) and Danny Rodwell.
Britannia Tadcaster made it through to the final of the West Riding JB Plows Trophy after knocking out holders Station 2-0.
Jordan Willoughby gave Britannia a 1-0 half-time lead. The result was sealed when Adam Field hit an unstoppable 18-yard shot past the ’keeper.
Albion Vaults lost their semi-final 2-0 to Wetherby, both goals coming in the second half.
