Applause tributes to Guy Mitchell
PLAYERS from Rawcliffe Warriors Under-11s and opponents Easingwold Town hold a minute’s applause in memory of York sport stalwart Guy Mitchell.
Similar tributes were staged across the York Mitchell Sports Football League programme at the weekend to honour Mitchell, who has died at the age of 82.
A private cremation will be held on Monday, December 23, followed by a service of thanksgiving at St Philip and St James Church, Clifton, at 2pm.
