Win York City Fighting Back book

York Press: The Press York City reporter Dave Flett with his book, York City Fighting Back The Press York City reporter Dave Flett with his book, York City Fighting Back

THE Press have two copies of the York City Fighting Back book to give away to a pair of our lucky readers.

An ideal Christmas present for any fan of the Minstermen, the 96-page colour publication chronicles the club’s eight-year battle to regain their Football League status, as well as the dramatic fight to retain it last season.

It is written by our City correspondent Dave Flett and filled with quotes and photographs from The Press’ archives.

Everything from the period is documented, including punch-ups in sandwich shops and the decision to rename the stadium after a popular chocolate bar.

Painful memories, such as 4-0 drubbings at Gravesend and Canvey Island are relived too, as well as the agony and, then glorious ecstasy, of four Wembley trips in the space of three years.

Appearance and goals statistics from the Conference era are also included, along with those from the 2012/13 League Two campaign.

To be in with a chance of winning one of the two copies, which will also be signed by the author, answer the following question:

Who scored York City’s goal at Dagenham & Redbridge on the final day of last season?
