DRINGHOUSES kept up their 100 per cent start to their York Minster Engineering Football League reserve ‘A’ campaign with a 2-1 victory at Haxby United.

Wayne Carter and Lee Bond did the damage for Dringhouses before Gary Rylance pulled a goal back for Haxby from the spot.

Champions Dunnington saw their perfect start to the season slip away as they were held 1-1 by Easingwold Town, whose Mark Coulson salvaged a point.

Wigginton returned to winning ways at York RI thanks to Danny Lamb and Tom Coates. Joe Mason notched late in the game for the home side.

Huntington scored a goal in each half courtesy of Chris Johnson and Nicke Rakocevic as they beat Copmanthorpe 2-0.

Tacaster Magnets made it six wins from six games in reserve ‘B’ with a 4-0 win at home to Riccall. Adam Field scored twice, adding to an own goal and a Bobby Gray effort.

Heslington moved up to second after a goalless draw at Fulford while Pocklington Town won 2-0 at Stamford Bridge with goals by Nick Daniells and Alex Fletcher.

Poppleton lead the way in reserve ‘C’ after James Long, Josh Hughes and Curtis Bowles netted in a 3-0 win over Strensall.

Second placed Thorpe kept up the pressure with a 4-0 win at Brooklyn.

In reserve ‘D’, Hamilton Panthers went top with a 5-0 win over Rufforth.
