Trio of Northern Counties East League wins for Pickering Town, Tadcaster Albion and Selby Town

PICKERING Town are up to sixth place in the Northern Counties East League premier division after a 3-0 home win over Nostell Miners Welfare.
The Pikes had to wait until the 44th minute to break the deadlock through Joe Danby, and Tom Adams added a second five minutes after the restart.
Lewis Taylor rounded off the Recreation Ground win with a 90th-minute third goal.
Second-placed Tadcaster Albion were 2-0 victors at Glasshoughton Welfare.
Carl Stewart and Danny Critchlow were the Brewers’ marksmen, while the visitors also saw a penalty saved.
Selby Town moved up to ninth in division one with 4-2 home win over Shirebrook Town.
Nathan Kamara netted on 11 minutes and Tom Owen doubled the Robins’ lead before Ross Henshaw made it 2-1 at half-time.
Striker Danny Gray put the Flaxley Road hosts 3-1 in front and, although Craig Getliff pulled a goal back on 79 minutes, Kamara bagged his second on 90 minutes.
Goals from Colin Heath and Blaine Hobson saw Knaresborough Town come from behind to beat hosts Teversal 2-1.
A trio of half-time substitutions turned Harrogate Town’s fortunes around as they drew 3-3 at Boston United in Conference North.
Trailing 3-0, manager Simon Weaver shook things up at the break and was rewarded with goals from Liam Hardy, Danny Rowe and on loan Grimsby Town striker Dayle Southwell, from the penalty spot.
Three goals in the last 15 minutes helped propel Harrogate Railway Athletic to a 4-0 win over Padiham at Station View in Evo-Stik League division one north.
Nathan Cartman netted the opening goal on 30 minutes but it took until the 76th minute for Paul Beesley to grab the second.
Colin Hunter struck on 81 minutes and Beesley wrapped it up with his second in the last minute.
Scarborough Athletic were 4-3 winners at Stocksbridge Park Steels in the first qualifying round of the FA Vase.
Scarborough trailed 3-2 with 12 minutes left, but rallied to win the tie thanks to goals from Lewis Clarkson, Gary Bradshaw (2) and Ryan Williams.
