Charity night at Swallow Golf Club

NIGHT-TIME play will put the spring into the swing at Swallow Golf Club next month.
The Wheldrake-based club is to host a charity-based night of golf on Saturday, November 9.
The event has been organised by the Minster Lions of York in aid of funds into the research and treatment of testicular cancer.
Dubbed “it’s all about the balls”, the competition will have a shotgun start with tee-times available at both 5pm and 7.30pm.
The entrance fee is £30 per player – with a limit of 70 players.
The cost includes green fee, glow ball with which to play, of course, and an American Diner meal.
There will also be nearest the flag and hole in one competitions and there will be a £1 entrance fee for any spectators.
The tournament will be followed by live music from Arc.
