Norris launched a drop kick from his own area and veteran Phil Jones also struck from long range, scoring with a 60-yard effort.
Striker Carl Stewart struck four times on his debut for Marcia, Alex Grey snatched a treble, Paul Harris netted a brace and Tommy Medd also scored.
Lions replied with goals from Matthew Wash, Adam Kelly, Billy Ross and Adam Wash.
Tadcaster Magnets top the table three, a point clear of rivals Britannia Tadcaster, after thumping York RI 6-0.
Magnets were 5-0 up at the break with double strikes from Daryl Carter and Sam Farthing, plus an overhead volley from a corner by Tristian Batley-Kyle.
Carter completed his hat-trick in the second half.
Britannia Tadcaster beat visitors Brayton 4-2.
Britannia took the lead after only three minutes with a goal from Adam Field.
The visitors levelled on 14 minutes with a strike from Luke Lambert, but the hosts went 2-1 up when Field scored his second.
The first half was brought to a finish on 40 minutes when Brayton’s Lewis Jones broke a leg in a 50-50 challenge with the Britannia ’keeper.
The visitors opted to play on and fell further behind when Bobby Gray made it 3-1.
Lambert pulled a goal back on 76 minutes but Britannia wrapped up the points when substitute Callum Willoughby netted.
Bishopthorpe United never looked in trouble in their 6-2 win over Barlby. A brace from Andy Manns and a Nick May strike gave them a 3-1 half-time lead.
The second period saw Manns take his tally to four goals and May netted his second.
Brayton’s scorers were Tom Wright and Jack Dinnewell.
Division four table-toppers Snaith made it five wins on the spin by beating Selby Olympia 4-1.
A wonder-strike from Tom Smith put Olympia 1-0 up, but Snaith hit back to lead at the break 2-1 with goals from Alex Mellish and Bradley Thompson.
They made sure of the points when Rob Tate hit a second-half brace.
Basement side York Phoenix are still looking for their first point after going down 5-1 against Drax.
The winning side’s goals came from James Barrett, with a brace, Alex Ward, Ian Blythan and Rob Walkdon. Ben Low netted Phoenix’s consolation.
NUR twice came from behind to beat Marcia Bishopthorpe.
Chris Long gave Marcia an early lead but NUR equalised just before the break.
In the second period, Marcia went 2-1 up when ’keeper Stuart King, who had come out of goal to play up front, struck from a free-kick.
NUR hit back with two goals in a minute from Bob Constable and James O’Donnell to run out 3-2 winners.
