DUNCOMBE Park clinched the division three title in style with a nine-wicket victory at Scarborough.

The home side totalled 193-5 thanks to runs from Ash Kundi (74) and Josh Mainprize (42).

The Helmsley side, seeking five points to claim top spot, raced to victory thanks to C Campbell (67), Brian Leckenby (63no) and Alistair Holmes (37no).

Dringhouses kept their promotion hopes alive when they beat Driffield III by 45 runs at St Helen’s Road.

Chris Evans hit 54, Danny Snaith 32 and Chris Storey 40 in a total of 192-8. Tom Storr then claimed 4-30 as Driffield were all out for 147.

Pocklington suffered a 103-run setback at Osbaldwick. Richie Carew hit 91 and Matt Hattee 72 as Osbaldwick posted 268-9.

Alex Downey took 3-52 for Pocklington and then followed with 60. Neal Jackson got 56 but Chris Hammerton (3-23) and Matt Hattee (3-9) helped bowl Pock out for 165.

Ripon ended their relegation fears when they beat Carlton Towers by 49 runs.

Tom Harrison (57no) and Joel Wilford (84no) helped second-placed Sheriff Hutton to an eight-wicket triumph at Sessay.

Yorkshire Ladies player Jess Watson made 44 in Sessay’s 149-7.

Batting first at Hovingham, Acomb posted a total of 219-7 thanks to Neil Grant (57), Paul Hemmingway (51), Alex Topham (37) and Matt Williams (37).

Steve Mosey claimed 3-40.

Dave Bowling then hit 50 and Will Lund 47, but Hov closed on 130-9.
