Pickering Town and Tadcaster Albion hit back to claim Northern Counties East League premier division draws

PICKERING Town hit back from a goal down at half-time to take a point from their trip to Basford United in the Northern Counties East League.
The Pikes trailed 1-0 at the break after Wayne Jones’ opener for the hosts, but Joe Danby struck for Town with 12 minutes remaining.
Tadcaster Albion scored a late leveller as they drew 2-2 at Parkgate. Matt Sparkes and Ben Turner were on target.
In division one, Selby Town’s two-match winning run came to an end with a 2-0 home defeat by Hall Road Rangers.
The visitors did the damage in the first half at Flaxley Road, Adam Foster netting on 26 minutes and Ombeni Duka adding a second three minutes before the break.
Knaresborough Town went down 3-1 at home to Pontefract Collieries, with former Selby and Haxby United striker Craig Heard netting their goal on the stroke of half-time.
In Evo-Stik League division one north, Harrogate Railway Athletic scored twice in the last 18 minutes to snatch a 2-0 home win over Wakefield.
Daniel Thirkell grabbed the first goal on 72 minutes and Jesus Martin-Farina added a second with four minutes left on the clock.
Scarborough Athletic hit back from 3-0 down at Lincoln United in division one south to draw 3-3.
Andrew Hutchinson, from the penalty spot, and Joshua Bowden put the hosts 2-0 up at the break and Andrew Toyne added a third on 50 minutes.
Gary Bradshaw pulled a goal back from the penalty spot on 66 minutes, Andrew Milne netted on 75 and Lewis Clarkson equalised in the 90th minute.
