FROM second to first was the robust route taken by Neil Williamson to strike up a healthy lead in the KP Golf Captain’s Series event.
He had finished the first round second on count-back, but made no mistake in the second round overhauling early pace-setter Gerald Heron with a nett 64 to top the leaderboard with a running total of 126 with one round to play.
Dan George again posted the lowest gross score, 75, despite only arriving back in England the night before from a stag party in Amsterdam.
