York City midfielder Lee Bullock poised to join Stockport County on loan

LEE Bullock is poised to sign for Blue Square Bet Premier outfit Stockport on a one-month loan deal from York City.

The 31-year-old midfielder has made just one start since returning to Bootham Crescent from Bradford City on a free transfer last summer.

Good luck to the lad,he`ll be better off playing than sat on the sidelines. If we need him at least his fitness level should be O.K.
Stockport are in a similar situation to ourselves and I hope Lee can help them out.

Couldn't agree more. Must have been very frustrating for him never getting a chance. All the best to him and Stockport

Good luck to him.

Sadly, since his return at the start of the season he's never looked like he was going to make an impact. Too slow for a midfield position.

No matter who was in charge at York City, Lee Bullock was never going to be selected. So to move on is a sensible decision. I wish him well.

Yes, good-luck to Lee and County - a League1/2 club floundering about in the BSBP and a reminder to our players, to give their very best in our eight remaining matches and making sure that we stay in the Football League.

Good luck Lee. A thoroughly decent guy who just wants to play regular football. Like every other player not in the first team, has struggled due to City not having a reserve team. Ability was never in question, having played at league level throughout his career. Never one for complaining, a good professional and well respected by Bradford fans previously, I hope you enjoy the rest of your playing career Lee.

Good luck Lee, you were a favourite of mine the first time around, always gave your all. Sorry it didn't work out this time, you may remember a shout from the Pop stand towards you, " Lee Buttock"!! Back in the day!

Sadly another poor signing. That's now Blanchett, Bullock, Smith, and Johnston not even finished the season with us. God the summer signings were awful regardless of the budget.

They were poor, but who could have predicted Smith would be so bad for us? A player with proven league experience and quality, straight from a promotion winning side - most people at the time thought he was a great signing. Also Coulson, who was excellent at the start of the season, but gets injured straight away. Mills didn't make good signings in general, but he didn't have great luck with his 'good' signings this season either.

Sadly a shadow of his former self, time to move on Lee. Wouldn't have been here next season, that's football.
