York City Knights trounce Workington Town in Kingstone Press Championship

HOOKER Jack Lee scored a hat-trick of tries as York City Knights beat Workington Town 48-6 in the Kingstone Press Championship.

There were two tries apiece for dual-registration pair Jack Briscoe and Dean Hadley plus scores for Jonny Presley and Tom Carr, who also kicked six goals at Huntington Stadium.

Carl Forber touched down for the visitors and also kicked the conversion.

York's second win in six matches moved them up to eighth in the table.

Think its about time the York public gave this new look Knights side some well deserved support - have seen every game so far this season & aswell as getting some really good attacking rugby, you get 100% commitment every week no matter what side we put out.

So no excuses - get of you're backsides & see some really good stuff & help the club progress on & off the field.
