BOTTOM-OF-THE-TABLE AFC Wimbledon will be looking to extend their unbeaten home record in 2013 to a seventh game when York City visit Kingsmeadow tomorrow.

Along with Bury and Portsmouth, the Wombles might have the joint-lowest tally of home wins in the Football League with just three to their name but, since the turn of the year, the Surrey side have proven a difficult team to overcome on their own soil.

Neal Ardley’s men have beaten Bradford 2-1 in that time and shared the spoils with Plymouth (1-1), Northampton (1-1), Burton (1-1), Port Vale (2-2) and Wycombe (2-2).

The Dons, who have used a sizeable 43 different players this season, will also entertain seventh-bottom City knowing that a victory would move them within a point of their opponents with a game in hand.

Wimbledon, whose defensive record of 61 goals conceded is League Two’s worst, will continue to be without right-back Jim Fenlon (back) and centre-half Will Antwi (hip) for this weekend’s encounter.

Ardley’s team have kept just one clean sheet in ten matches – during a 1-0 win at Dagenham two weeks ago – with veteran former Scotland international Neil Sullivan now minding the net at the age of 43.

Midfielder Peter Sweeney (broken foot), meanwhile, is also crocked for tomorrow’s game and right-back Jonathan Meades is rated doubtful with a foot problem.

Former Luton full-back Curtis Osano could return at right-back after making a return to action this week in the County Cup but, if not, then skipper Mat Mitchel-King will continue to be a makeshift option in that position.

Further up the pitch, meanwhile, on-loan Brighton attacker Brennan Dickenson could have forced himself into the starting XI reckoning after netting during last Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Cheltenham as a substitute.

On-loan Cardiff forward Jessie Darco would then be the most likely candidate to miss out, with Dickenson and Gary Alexander playing alongside top-scorer Jack Midson.

Former Oxford striker Midson has netted ten times this season, but only once in his last eight outings.
