Chester tester for Harrogate Town
11:20am Friday 8th March 2013 in Sport
Harrogate Town will look to get their floundering Blue Square Bet North play-off hopes back on track at home to Chester tomorrow.
Their run of good form came to an end with a shock 2-1 loss against Colwyn Bay on Tuesday night ahead of last night’s trip to FC Halifax.
The Wetherby Roaders are boosted by the knowledge that York City midfielder Tom Platt, who has scored 11 goals for the Wetherby Roaders this season, will remain at the club until March 21.
New Minstermen boss Nigel Worthington had signalled his intent to recall the club’s loanees to Bootham Crescent but, as Platt is inside the initial 28-day loan period of this latest deal, he can play in all Harrogate games until the start of spring.
Harrogate Railway, 3-2 winners over Skelmersdale United in midweek, are on the road at Garforth Town in the Evo-Stik League first division north.
