Gold for veteran athlete Colin Shafto

City of York Athletic Club veteran Colin Shafto won three gold medals and one silver at the Eastern Veterans indoor track and field championships at the Lee Valley Sports Centre in north London.

The 78-year-old former world masters hurdles champion, competing in the M75 age group, won the long jump, 60 metres hurdles and the high jump, and finished second in the 200m.
