THE York Minster Engineering League Junior Cup produced surprises as the top two sides in division two were beaten by clubs struggling in division three.
Division two leaders Osbaldwick conceded an 88th-minute equaliser at Selby Olympia, scored by Connor Brewins, and the Selby side triumphed in a penalty shoot-out.
Rawcliffe, unbeaten in ten division two fixtures, lost 3-1 at division three strugglers Crayke. Jack Cartwright and Ian Dawson bagged for Crayke to add to an own goal.
Division four leaders York Acorn beat division three Sporting Knavesmire 4-2 on penalties.
Danny Mason gave 2011 winners Strensall a lead after 30 seconds against Heslington, but the visitors won 2-1 thanks to John Pipe and Lee Topping, with a late penalty.
Alex Knockles scored as Rufforth beat Ouseburn 1-0, while Michael Quinn hit a hat-trick in Civil Service’s 4-0 success at Moor Lane.
