YORK City Knights suffered a 46-14 defeat at Sheffield Eagles in the Kingstone Press Championship.
The Knights trailed 18-8 at half-time at Bramall Lane after unconverted tries by George Elliott and Jonny Presley.
Presley crossed again on 50 minutes and Tom Carr converted, but Sheffield cruised clear in the latter stages of the match.
