Sam Hill scores twice as LNER Builders win at Huntington

LNER Builders kept alive their faint promotion hopes in York Minster Engineering Football League division four with a 3-1 win at Huntington.

Sam Hill, the division’s top marksman, scored twice for the Builders and Dan Shaw added their third.

Eric Balderstone replied for Huntington.

A Tom Owen treble helped Tadcaster Town extend their unbeaten home run to eight matches as they beat Selby Town Reserves 4-0.

Will Leaff completed the Taddy tally.

A James Hurst penalty gave Moor Lane the lead at Wheldrake, but they were denied a first away win in 11 as the home side won 4-2 with goals from Ali Carroll, Ben Webster, George Ledley and Jonathon Scutt.

Gavin Harford hit the second Moor Lane goal.

Sam Hill may get the main headline. But it's the team that are putting his goals on a plate for him.. I feel that this headline may give him a large head, so i believe he should be dropped for th next game. Bring the boy back down to earth!!!
P.S. Tyrell for Prime Minister!!!
