Richard Buck sidelined again

CITY of York Athletic Club runner Richard Buck was forced out of the domestic 400 metres race at the British Athletics Indoor Grand Prix in Birmingham.

The 26-year-old had been hoping to run after shaking off a hamstring problem, but pulled out of the event shortly before the start on Saturday.

Buck first felt the injury the previous weekend when he withdrew from the final of the European Trials and British Athletics Indoor Championships in Sheffield.
