YORK City Knights crashed 42-4 at Batley Bulldogs in the Kingstone Press Championship.
The Bulldogs raced into a 6-0 first-minute lead at Mount Pleasant, but York responded on six minutes with a try by Hull dual-reg player Joe Arundel.
However, that proved to be the Knights' only score of the afternoon as the home side crossed for five further tries.
