TOTAL Sports United jumped up to second place in the division one table after beating Haxby United 4-1 in the York Minster Engineering Football League.

Ben Brannigan scored twice in the first half to set up the win, with Will Wood and Dan Walton increasing the lead before Kieran Harris hit a consolation goal.

Tockwith eased their relegation worries as they chalked up their first double of the season, beating Pocklington 2-0.

After a goalless opening hour, Andy Wilson headed Tockwith in front and Chris Walker confirmed the win five minutes from time.

Strensall enhanced their promotion hopes in division two with a 2-0 win at Heslington.

A precise free-kick from Liam Winfield gave Strensall the lead and they confirmed the points with an unstoppable volley from Nick Fenton.

A second hat-trick in as many games for Ben Jones helped Bishopthorpe to a 4-1 win over Cliffe. Paul Galdas completed the scoring for Bish, with Nathan Parker replying for Cliffe.

In division three, F1 Racing extended their unbeaten home run to 12 games by beating promotion rivals Civil Service 4-2.

Neil Yeowart celebrated his 400th league game for F1 by opening the scoring and Ross Howard added a second before the break.

The visitors responded in the second half with two goals from Gareth Inness, but Rich Proctor and George Trifan, scoring for the tenth game on the trot, netted for F1.

Crayke and Sporting Knavesmire drew 3-3. Sporting led at the break with goals from Danny Smith, Tom Williams and Andrew Simpson, but Tom Hilling, Dan Smith and Cory Wincut pulled it back.

Nigel Croad scored twice on his Selby Olympia debut in a 5-1 win over Huby. Darren Pool, Craig Walton and an own goal made up Selby’s tally. Tom Horner replied.
