BETTING exchange Betfair have announced they are sponsoring the 20th Middleham Stables Open Day on Good Friday, March 29.
Betfair now sponsors the three principle open days in Britain, the other two being at Lambourn and Newmarket, as part of an “ongoing commitment to support the grassroots of racing”.
James Bethell, trainer and chairman of the Middleham Trainers Association, said: “I am thrilled that Betfair has agreed to sponsor the Middleham Open Day. Their support means that even more money can be raised for our chosen charities for this year. With the event celebrating its 20th anniversary I’m sure that it is going to be bigger and better than ever.”
Betfair’s Martin Cruddace said: “These hugely successful and important open days offer a unique opportunity for racing fans to visit some of the top racing yards.”
