LEEDS United have been challenged to learn from their mistakes as they try to hit back at Hull City in the npower Championship tomorrow (12.30pm).
The Whites were toppled 4-2 at Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day, having led 1-0 approaching half-time.
Billy Sharp equalised from the penalty spot before the break and seven minutes of “bedlam”
followed in which manager Neil Warnock’s men conceded a further three goals at the City Ground.
“We just had a few minutes of bedlam really,” said the United chief.
“We lost because of seven minutes of madness and elementary mistakes.
“You shouldn’t concede three goals in seven minutes. You have to learn from your mistakes.
“Experienced players made mistakes. It’s the Championship and you can’t do that.
“We didn’t hold the ball enough, we gave it away too much, and you can’t play the game without three forwards.”
The Whites are ninth as they head for the KC Stadium to take on the second-placed Tigers.
As Leeds were going down at Forest, Hull boss Steve Bruce was lamenting a 0-0 draw with Leicester that left his side five points adrift of leaders Cardiff.
