LEE BRAYSHAW topped the ton as he won the latest Raker Lakes Wheldrake Open angling contest on Horseshoe Lake.

The Leeds rod headed a field of 20 anglers in a match staged in windy but warm weather conditions.

Brayshaw, fishing at peg one, weighed in with 100lb 12oz – all carp caught fishing up in the water using bread punch and feeding casters.

Second place was filled by Dave Wright, of JT Rogers, who scaled 91lb 10oz from peg 22.

His all-carp net was caught at 16 metres fishing on the slope to far bank with soft four millimetre pellet on hook feeding caster.

Leeds’ Oliver Hewitt was third with 82lb 03oz from peg 30. He enticed carp on bread punch.

Fourth was Gareth Sellers, also of Leeds, from peg 27, with 42lb 7oz.

Boston Spa’s Dave Geldart was fifth at peg seven with 42lb 5oz.
