Amateur rugby league clubs could win workout with top side
10:41am Saturday 22nd December 2012 in Sport
Amateur rugby league teams have got two weeks left to enter a new contest.
Clubs are being offered the chance to win a workout with top Superleague side Wigan Warriors, as well as £1,000 sponsorship in a competition by menswear brand Jacamo.
They are offering the prize as part of a contest to find the UK’s most dedicated amateur side. The competition is open to all UK amateur teams, male or female, featuring players of any age.
To enter clubs need to submit 150 to 300 words about why they feel they deserve to win, with a photograph of themselves, to competitions@jacamo.co.uk by January 4.
The most impressive ten will then be reviewed by a Jacamo judging panel, including Warriors’ manager and former star player, Kris Radlinski and five finalists chosen to go before a public vote.
Friends and family can then choose their favourites via the Jacamo Facebook page with the most popular crowned winner in February next year.
