YORK City's npower League Two game against Gillingham at Bootham Crescent today has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The surface was deemed unplayable after an early morning pitch inspection by referee Stephen Martin.
A rearranged date for the fixture has yet to be announced.
The heavy rain has also played havoc with today's non-League football schedule.
Pickering Town's home game against Winterton Rangers in the Northern Counties East League premier division was called off, along with Tadcaster Albion's trip to Glasshoughton Welfare.
Selby Town's home clash with Pontefract and Knaresborough's game at Dinnington in division one were postponed.
Harrogate Town's trip to Bishop's Stortford in Blue Square Bet North also fell foul of the weather.
In the Wearside League, Kirkbymoorside's match with Prudhoe Town was also called off.
At lunchtime, Harrogate Railway Athletic's home game with Bamber Bridge in Evo-Stik League division one north was added to the list of postponements.
