WENDY STORR shot out on 100 as Severus ‘B’ toppled their ‘A’ team club-mates 7-4 in division two of the York John Smith’s Ladies Darts League.

Storr hit double 20, 20, double 20 as the ‘B’ ranks stormed into a 2-0 lead, but their opponents replied with wins by Sheila Elliott, Davin Shannon and Sue Clark.

Michelle Kelly’s win sent the teams into the pairs on level terms and, after they shared the first two games, Kelly and Storr combined to seal victory.

Edinburgh were taken to the wire by visitors Acomb ‘B’, who led 4-2 going into the pairs after a win from Debbie Pollard.

However, the home side won all the remaining legs, with Anthea and Pat Jamieson winning the match point.

Second-placed Bootham Club were dealt a blow as they lost 9-2 against Clifton.

Michelle Brierley’s 24-dart leg inspired Clifton to a clean sweep in the singles.

Turpin’s Jo MacPherson hit two bullseyes in her game in an 8-3 victory at Burton WMC which came despite them competing a player short.

Division one front-runners Cueball ‘B’ were 9-2 winners at home to Walnut Tree.

All the legs went to the wire in a match that produced 15 tons and a 68 checkout by Tree’s Clair Cooper.

Tracey Farmeary, Sue Turpin, Di Moreland and Sandra Winters all hit the ton trail.

Tramways made home advantage count as they toppled visitors Flag 9-2. Jo Hodges (25) and Sue Lowery hit the hundreds, while Chris Hedley and Jane Dobson were Flag’s only successes.

Lions beat Burnholme 9-2.

Jubilee increased their lead at the top of division three with a 9-2 victory over Shepherd ‘A’.
