THREE out of three is the bold aim for Leeds United from tomorrow’s west Yorkshire derby at Huddersfield Town.
Manager Neil Warnock’s whites have overturned a seven-game streak without a win by taming two of the npower Championship’s powerhouses in leaders Crystal Palace and then big-spending Leicester City in midweek.
Now they take on the Terriers, who are led by Warnock’s Elland Road predecessor, Bedale-born Simon Grayson.
That brace of victories, sealed by top scorer Luciano Becchio’s early penalty to down the Foxes at Elland Road, has been aided by the loan signing of Swansea City defender Alan Tate, who has stiffened the rearguard.
Said Warnock: “His arrival has helped to give us confidence and it’s rubbed off on everybody.
“Dominic Matteo has said we might win all three games this week. Let’s hope he’s right.”
