YORKSHIRE Over-60s will be looking to make it two wins from two matches in their Liberty Trophy group when they take on main rivals Cumbria at Thanet Road today.

The game starts at 12.30pm – the same time as York ladies will be aiming to emulate their Vivienne Trophy team when they take on North Cave in the Yetton Trophy.

York also play North Cave in the Yorkshire Ladies League Section ‘A’ on Saturday starting at noon.

Also on Saturday, at 11am, York’s men take on Cumbria in the Denny Cup. Then, at noon, their Hebden Trophy team go in search of their first win of the season after a disappointing start. They play Doncaster.

At Huntington Road, New Earswick’s ladies play Hornsea in the Yorkshire League.

On Monday, Thanet Road hosts the Railway Federation Bowls Competition, starting at 9.30am.

The final is due to take place at about 4pm.
