Turpin found their finishing prowess as Sarah Brown, Pam Beilby, Carol Cuthbert, Alison King then Katie Barton sealed victory at Acomb ‘B’.

Dawn and Charlotte Scott and Hayley Riley gave Shoulder ‘A’ a good grounding in their division three match at Leeman, whose Margaret Yeomans and Charlotte Witts narrowed the gap.

Julie Gothard restored the advantage then Riley, paired with Hayley Luck, snatched victory.

Shepherd ‘B’ had Kerry Humble and Alison Buckley pairing up to set up a decider at Jubilee, then club colleagues Sonya Love and Sheridan Kilner secured victory.

Sun beat Shepherd 6-3.
