SIMON DYSON is hoping a Major influence can see him hit Hong Kong heights.
The York-born European Tour ace was paired with Padraig Harrington in the opening two rounds of the UBS Hong Kong Open at the Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling, which started today.
Harrington is twice a winner of the Open Championship and has also claimed the USPGA title.
Dyson, who is also joined by Thailand’s Tongchai Jaidee in the three-ball, needs a strong finish to the season if he is going to regain his place among the world’s top 50 – which is required to qualify automatically for next year’s Majors.
