THIRSK & Sowerby Harriers’ turnout for the Dalby Dash ten-kilometre race was led by Charlotte Sanderson.
She was the first woman finisher and sixth overall in a time of 36 minutes and 40 seconds.
She also won an extra prize – a specially commissioned jacket – for being the first lady to the top of the hill.
Paul Van Der Westhuisen, also in excellent form, came 31st in 40-41 with Lorraine Hiles 79th, and first F45 lady, in 43-17.
Sonja Van Der Westhuisen was 241st in 51-03, Nik Sutton-Haigh 250th in 51-17, Pat Kirby 267th and second F60 in 52-18, Ian Codling 412th in 61-45 and Marian Codling, returning after a long lay-off, 456th in 76-42.
