Rowntrees RUFC lost 21-13 to a big and powerful Pocklington third XV.
’Trees tackled manfully but wilted in the last quarter as Pock scored two late tries from Andy Richardson and Callum Nerve.
Pock opened the scoring with a touchdown from Ryan Moody, with prop Danny Mudd kicking the first of his three conversions.
’Trees scored two tries, bagged by Mike Palfrey and impressive full-back Ed Kemp, with Tom Atkinson kicking a penalty.
