Thirsk & Sowerby Harriers at Harewood race

Stephan Tomszewski was the top Thirsk & Sowerby Harriers member at the Harewood ten-mile trail race.
The race, run over a testing, hilly course in the grounds of Harewood House, was the latest Club Championship competition.
Tomszewski came home in 53rd place in a time of 73 minutes 29 seconds. Rob Burn finished 96th in 77-09, with Nikki Booth 175th in 85-06 and Geoff Bullock 189th in 86-40.
Alan Harman came 216th in a time of 89-46, Steve Booth was 248th in 94-28, David Goddard took 312th place in 104-36, Christine Burn was 323rd in 107-40 and Ian Codling came 348th in 113-09. There was a field of 1,211 at Scarborough for the East Coast 10k, with new Harriers member Rob Lickley finishing 235th in 45-46.
Charlotte Sanderson was third in the women’s race at the latest North Yorkshire South Durham Cross Country fixture in Whitby. She clocked 21-44.
Club-mate Graham Robinson finished 85th in the men’s race in 43-12.
Alan Harman finished 360th in the Bridlington Half-marathon in one hour 48-05.
