Haxby United history help needed

HAXBY United Football Club have appealed for assistance to try to trace the club’s history.
York Football League records track the club back to 1909 but, while there are still people involved in the club from the 1960s, researchers would like any information on players and managers, and possible pictures too, from before then.
Any one with information can email Chris Watkinson at haxbyunited@live.co.uk or visit the club’s base at Ethel Ward playing fields any Saturday afternoon.
