Harrogate Railway seek SOS from Cables mission

Harrogate Railway Athletic will be looking for their first Evo-Stik League first division North win since September at Prescot Cables.

The Rail lost 2-0 to Ramsbottom on Tuesday, leaving them third from bottom and without a home league win all season.

But they face a Cables side who sit just two places above them, having lost eight of their 12 league games.

Neighbours Harrogate Town host Corby Town in Blue Square Bet North after their midweek FA Cup replay was KO’d by a waterlogged pitch. The tie against Hyde has been rescheduled for Tuesday.

Town go into Saturday’s clash unbeaten in all competitions in October, while third from bottom Corby have only won once on their travels this term.
